Tiger keeping everyone on the edge of their seats during the last grab at a major this year. Challenging course, tough field, and a great +1000 line, makes this a great one to watch.
Keeping everyone guessing is usually not Tigers game. Normally entering these majors will see the usual confidence from the betting public as well as Tiger in himself. However, with a terrible showing over the last few rounds has pushed his Odds to +1000 and quite the bargain for the discriminating bettor.
This year, Woods has only two top 10 finishes and four finishes in the top 25. His earnings is way off the mark at $825,386 compared to 2008 when he finished the year after six events making close to $6-million. In 2009 Woods played in 17 events where he earned $10.5-million.
So if you took that awesome line at Yower Sports +1000 on Tiger Woods, lets see how your stomach is doing right now:
Woods is at 2 under through his front 9, giving him a glimpse of the lead where Charles Howell III sits. Appleby is hunting as well and he is one of two players to shoot 59 on the PGA Tour this year, doing it earlier this month in the final round of his victory at Greenbrier.
Woods looked relaxed during the fog delay that pushed tee times back 3 hours and 10 minutes Thursday morning, at one point bouncing a ball off his club while he talked with other players on the putting green. And when he finally got on the course, it was just like old times.
Starting on the back nine, he birdied the first two holes. He flew the green on the par-3 No. 12 and landed in some thick grass, but chipped within five feet and made the putt to save par. Another birdie on 13 moved him into the lead.
So if your on the edge of your seat…get comfy..Woods is sitting pretty, and so is your +1000.
