Components of the Game

Roulette is made up of a wheel with 38 slots and a felted board with betting options. Players place bets on the ‘inside’ (number 0, 00, or 1-36) or the ‘outside’ (odd/even, red/black, 1-18/19-36, 1st 3rd/2nd 3rd or 3rd3rd).

Based on the odds of ball landing in various sections, there are different payouts available.

If you are betting on the ‘outside’, you only need standard casino chips. If you are betting on the ‘inside’, you will need special chips from the dealer – with one color assigned to each player at the table. This is done to determine whose chips are on which number or section easily.
